PC requirements and Mobile help have different scopes
PUBG Support's nickname-change article lists a four-to-sixteen-character range, at least four alphabetic characters, a restricted set of letters, digits, hyphens and underscores, and no leading hyphen or underscore. That article displays an update date of 1 June 2020. We label the corresponding basic checks rather than pretending this is a complete live account validation.
The separate Mobile help article describes using a Rename Card. It does not establish the PC character requirements for Mobile. Sources actually read 31 October 2026: PUBG nickname-change item and Mobile nickname help. We do not quote a current price or inspect your inventory.
Pick the destination before the decoration
A nickname should be drafted for the game field where you will use it. Select PC if you want the checks from the linked published PC article. Select Mobile for a local creative shortlist without importing those PC requirements. The label remains beside every result, so a copied candidate does not silently acquire a stronger compliance claim.
Enter words you are comfortable sharing publicly. Joined, reversed and initial-based alternatives let you compare the same idea without drawing from a stock nickname bank. If you choose a separator, it is placed between the source pieces rather than at the beginning. The generator does not decorate a result with an unrelated clan tag or assume you belong to a particular squad.
Count letters as well as total characters
A short string can satisfy a total length while missing a separate letter-count condition. PC mode therefore counts alphabetic characters independently from the entire displayed nickname. Digits and separators contribute to total length but do not increase the alphabetic count. The result label reports both quantities, making this distinction visible rather than hiding it inside a single pass icon.
For example, entering only ab12 does not provide four letters. Adding more digits does not resolve that specific problem. Change the source words instead. The tool filters a candidate that fails the scoped basic checks; it does not silently append arbitrary letters to manufacture a pass. The published article and the current game response remain separate evidence.
Keep the Mobile boundary visible
Mobile mode keeps the same transparent English-letter and digit construction but uses a local display preference. A result there says that PC acceptance has not been inferred. The linked Mobile help is about its own rename process; it is not a universal Unicode table or a guarantee that every decorative character will render on your device.
Copy a draft into the actual intended field only when you are ready to review it. Compare its appearance on your own device and read the game's current response before confirming anything. This site does not consume a card, buy an item, search profiles or check whether someone else uses the nickname. Local generation cannot reserve a name.
Separate a personal nickname from team branding
This workshop drafts the individual player nickname. If a team wants a shared label, agree on that label separately and check how the destination expects it to be represented. A tag included in a creative draft does not grant team membership or establish that a tournament permits the format. We do not apply an old esports rulebook to all players.
Keep a plain version beside a version with the chosen separator. Compare both in the actual small name display rather than judging only the large candidate heading. If a separator makes the name harder to say or fit, use a full-word alternative. The generator offers a finite editing set and does not promise fresh unrelated names with repeated clicks.
Questions about this workshop
Does a PC basic-check result prove the nickname is available?
No. It checks only the documented local conditions, not an account or nickname database.
Are PC character rules automatically valid on Mobile?
No. The Mobile mode does not import those requirements as official Mobile rules.
Will a result spend a Rename Card?
No. This is a local text workshop and cannot make an account change or purchase.
