Check the name and tagline separately
Riot Support describes a Riot ID as a Game Name plus a tagline. Its guide says Game Names use 3–16 alphanumeric characters and taglines use 3–5. A Game Name need not be unique by itself; the complete ID must not already be taken. The guide also lists region-code tags that cannot be selected when changing an ID, and moderation applies to both parts.

Choose the name before the pairing
Start with one to three words you want other players to see. Keep private account details out of the input. The tool works on public creative text and needs no password, email address or account identifier. It does not infer a play style from your account or provide a database of other players' identities.
Leave the tagline field empty while you compare Game Name drafts. This keeps the creative decision visible: full words, reversed order, initials or a shorter source word. Once you have a name direction, type a tagline you choose. The page pairs that same tag with the shortlist so you can review the exact combined text. The tag is your input, not a recommendation or an availability claim.
Keep the transformations explainable
The generator joins your words, reverses their order and tries initials and individual words. Lowercase is an optional presentation setting. It filters results against the selected Game Name shortlist length and removes duplicates. There is no hidden name bank, cultural meaning lookup or profile scraping behind the button.
Optional random digits are appended to the Game Name only. They do not create a new tagline, bypass a restricted tag or show that an identity is unused. If a numbered draft feels awkward, compare a shorter word combination instead. The purpose of the shortlist is to help you edit a public name, not to supply a string guaranteed to pass an account form.
The tool uses an English-letter and digit subset and starts each Game Name with a letter. That starting-letter choice is our conservative local restriction, not a claim that it reproduces Riot's entire policy. The shorter length option is a preference inside the stated maximum. Moderation, all supported scripts and account-specific eligibility are outside these local checks.
Keep tag problems apart from name problems
Enter your tagline without the separating hash mark. The page checks its length and English-letter or digit subset, and rejects the regional tags listed in the linked official guide. It compares that list without letter-case differences. An error here does not mean the Game Name is wrong. Fix the specific field and compare the complete candidate again.
A base name can look acceptable while the pairing is unavailable or otherwise rejected. Conversely, changing a creative Game Name is not the only possible response to a tag problem. Keep a note of the official field's actual response rather than assuming that every rejection has the same cause. This page cannot see your account or diagnose an unknown service response.
Inspect the exact draft you intend to copy
Enter a draft for local checks.
Paste either the Game Name alone or the combined text with one hash separator. A Game Name-only pass leaves the tagline unchecked. A complete local pass still says nothing about whether another account has that pairing. If you edit the copied text, inspect the final version rather than relying on the earlier card.
Take your chosen candidate to the correct official account and review the response there before saving any change. This workshop does not submit an account edit, reserve a pairing or promise how every Riot game will display it. A prepared alternative can help you continue the creative choice without inventing a reason for a rejection.
