Privacy Policy
This policy describes what actually happens on this site. It is written to match the code, not to cover every possibility.
Last updated: 11 October 2026
The short version
- The generator runs entirely in your browser. The words you type are used on your device and are never sent to us.
- There is no account, no login, and no newsletter.
- We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details.
- We intend to display third-party advertising in the future. That is the one thing here that involves someone other than you and us, and it is described in full below.
What we do not collect
The generator page ships as static files. When you press Generate, JavaScript on your own device assembles the names from a word bank that is part of the page. No request is made, so there is no server log of what you generated, and no copy of your keywords exists anywhere but your own machine.
Specifically, we do not collect or store:
- The keywords you type into the generator
- The names you generate, copy, or keep
- Any account information, because there are no accounts
Third-party advertising
We intend to display advertising supplied by third-party ad networks on some pages of this site. This is how the site covers the cost of its domain and hosting.
When advertising is active, those networks may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser, and may collect information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser type, and the pages you view, in order to select and measure ads. That collection is performed by the ad network under its own privacy policy, not by us, and we do not receive the personal data they gather.
Advertising is not active on this site at the time of writing. When it is switched on, this page will be updated to name the network or networks involved and to explain what choices you have, including how to opt out of personalised advertising.
Hosting and server logs
This site is served as static files by a hosting provider. Like virtually all web hosts, that provider may keep standard technical logs, such as the IP address a request came from and the time it was made, for security and reliability purposes. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine them with any other data.
Analytics
The site uses a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics feature operated by the same hosting provider, in order to count page views. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local or session storage, so there is no consent banner and nothing to opt out of.
What it records is aggregate: which page was requested, which site referred you, coarse geographic region derived from the request, and general device type. It does not track you across other websites, and it is not used to identify you as an individual.
Cookies
The generator itself does not set cookies and does not use local storage to remember you. If third-party advertising is added later, that advertising may set cookies; this page will be updated to say so before or at the time it happens.
Children
This site is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it. The date at the top is the date of the most recent revision.
